Healthy Holiday Eating

Healthy holiday eatings, is it possible? The holidays are a great time to reconnect with old friends, see family and meet new people! All three are excellent if you are single and dating. If Aunt Martha sees you again, maybe she can introduce you to her friends cute grandson…maybe your coworkers from the neighboring office catch you eye and you two connect over cocktails. They can be great, but can also be a huge trap for gaining weight and in dating looking and feeling your best are very crucial. You may think it is impossible not to gain weight during this time, but I am here to tell you that eating healthy this holiday season IS possible. Here are a few Health Tips to help you maintain your weight and Survive thru the Holidays….

  • Bloody Mary… tomato juice is a great antioxidant and the Tabasco sauce kicks up your metabolism.

Families Feast….

  • You don’t want to make aunt Cindy feel bad for not eating her food….so..
  • Fill your plate with WHITE meat, avoid Dark meat and vegetables & add a little scoop of mashed potato.
  • Or Get a smaller plate
  • Eat Pumpkin pie Vs. Pecan or Candied yams.
  • Lastly… just remember its only ONE Day.. so don’t beat yourself up and enjoy!

Busy Schedule…” I forgot to eat”

  • Never Skip Breakfast… take 3mins to make oatmeal, a fruit smoothie or eat a breakfast bar.
  • Always carry healthy snacks with you like: Fruits, Almonds, baby carrots.

Pre-plan your meals… have an idea of what your going to eat.

Girls Night Out NYC

Girls night out NYC. Yes we have all done it and if you haven’t then what are you waiting for?? Girls night out NYC can be one of the best places to hangout and have fun with your girlfriends. In this post I share one option for you that can take you for a swing from the norm wine bar (which I love).

I believe every woman should have a group of girlfriends that she can hang out with, act a fool with, and have some good’ol girl talk with! Ladies, if you don’t have that…lets chat. You may need my personal coaching to help you. It isn’t just about meeting more men, it is filling your life with meaningful relationships.

Recently a great friend of mine suggested we hit up Lucky Chengs in NYC. As always, I am always up for amusement and a good time. So no hesitation I went. If you do not know what it is, it is a restaurant that offers a drag queen show while you feast on food. Here is the lowdown.

The original location used to be in the village and they have now made the theater district their new home. The venue is huge and they have a nice size bar and dinning area. I heard they are opening up their 3rd floor to be an all out karaoke bar perfect for the next “American Idol”. For this night, we went to the drag queen show and dinner. The queens were awesome!! Extremely funny, hospitable, scanky and entertaining! The whole atmosphere of the place is a very positive “anything goes” type of vibe. The food low down is there are 3 menu options to choose from starting at $40 per person up to $50. All the food is served family style. The only disappointment of the entire night was the 1st and 2nd round of food. The food was served Luke warm and many of the dishes lacked flavor and presentation. For the entrée portion, things got a lot better and the food tasted much better. But then again, who goes to Lucky Chengs for good food anyway?? This is the kind of places where girlfriends can be silly and wild and no one will care of judge you. How awesome is that!?? So if you are visiting NYC or plan or live nearby Lucky Chengs is defiantly an experience. One not to miss!

Italy High Speed Train Treni Italo

Hello and welcome fellow travler! If you haven’t already checked out our other travel post on Ital check out Two Weeks In Italy and Rome 3 Day Itinerary Italy High Speed Train Treni Italo Read about it. Italy has a new high speed “bullet train” called Treni Italo. Try it!

Attention European travelers, there is a new kid on the block!
On my recent visit to Italy I discovered by accident a new train company that I was very pleased with. It is called ITALO.

I discovered this train by accident on one of my trips returning from Naples trying to get to Florence. I was stopped and greeted by a charming smiling young well spoken lady. Her English was superb and she immediately got my attention fixated on this huge 6 foot touch screen. She informed me that the company had just opened and was offering rail service via “express trains” to Rome, Florence and most major Italian cities. When comparing the trip from Naples to Florence I found this:

TrenItalia anywhere from 3 to 4hour trips for as low as 49Euro ( the kind that stop at EVERY SINGLE station) to 78Euro

ITALO 2 hour trip for as low as 70 Euro.

We chose, ITALO.

We were very happy with the brand spanking new trains. Super clean, modern and the service was excellent! They offer 3 levels of service Basic, Business and Premier class.
We chose the basic class, but then got upgraded to business where they offer a full service drink and snack service.
The travel was half the time and again I cannot not speak well enough about this train company. It is a sign of relief when you are traveling overseas and come across companies that offer a great service, great price and whose employees speak English.

Next time you are traveling to Italy, I invite you to take a look at this new company http://www.italotreno.it/EN/Pages/default.aspx

Tip To Repair Your Credit Score

Here is a quick tip to repair your credit score I want to share with you since my last post about How To Fix Your Credit Score was well received and some of you showed interest. I wanted to give you one more tip on how to repair your credit score. I enjoy hearing form you guys on how things have helped you or maybe what other ways you have repaired your credit score. Please share. And If you feel the article is worthy then share it with a friend! 🙂 Thanks!

Tip To Repair Your Credit Score

1. Find our which one of your cards has the highest APR.
2. Once you identify the cards with highest APR, rank them by which card you have had open the longest.
3. Now you have the cards with the highest APR and oldest card ranked as card #1 and then #2 and so on.
4. From now on pay the MINIMUM on all the cards #2 thru whatever and on card #1 pay the most you can pay on that card without leaving yourself with no money for rent! Hahaha.

Try this tip and you will see that you will end up paying off that card and bringing the balance down faster with this technique. Once it is within management, you can now do the exact same technique for card #2 and continue until you have managed to pay off and or lower the balance on all your cards.

Credit cards are fantastic if you have self control and not need to buy every single “cute outfit” or new video game that comes out. Each time I have moved, I have had that old tenant’s mail continue to come to the house. I always shake my head when the old tenant keeps getting loads of mailings and billing collection notices from every single department store and Credit Card Company you can think of. I mean come on do you really need an Old Navy credit card??

How To Fix Your Credit Score

If you are anything like me, I thought of my credit score as the BoogieMan. I was so afraid of even thinking about seeing the report or getting my score. You see like millions of Americans I too have been late with credit card bills, bought one or two or 100 useless expensive items that I do not own anymore, but am still paying off. Sound familiar?Oh and I cannot forget to mention to you that my credit card rampage started at age 18 as a freshman at UCLA when the halls and common areas would be full of credit card company representatives luring me to sign up for a card and due to these memories , I have prepared the following for you:

Top 6 Stupid Reasons People (A.K.A Adriana) Get/Got Credit Cards:

  1. The credit card offers the design of your favorite professional sports team
  2. The credit card with the tie-dye look or Hello Kitty Kat is too cute to say no!
  3. The credit card company is giving away a free beach towel, or frisbee, or hackey sack.
  4. You are at the JETs game and they will give you a “Limited Edition” rowdy towel if you sign-up now!
  5. You just need $500 worth of Victoria Secrete panties….like NOW!
  6. Because you can walk away today with your 60inch flat screen TV to play Battle Field3 or watch Entourage and not own anything for a year……

And all of our favorite saying: Charrrrrrge it!

Yes people I fell for those traps too! Hey the beach towel and T-shirt came in handy when you go to school in southern California and you do not like doing laundry.

My credit score used to be so bad I was unable to get my own cell phone service in my name, was rejected for a Macy’s credit card and the only cards I could get were the ones with a security deposit on them. So my years as a credit card owning woman have been many and well nothing to be too proud of, but today because of what I am going to share with you I have managed to rebound my credit in as little as 2 years to score higher than 60% of Americans, nothing to brag about, but sure better than it was before. Before I share a few tips on how to improve your credit score, let me debunk a few myths.

1. I Do Not Need To Know My Credit Score – FALSE

If you one day want to own a car, house or a couch to put in that house, you will most likely need to have good to excellent credit, therefore knowing what your score is now is important and should not be ignored

2. Credit Cards Are Bad – FALSE

Your parents may have told you this one before, but the truth is all wealthy people typically only buy using a credit card.

3. You Should Make Big Purchases in CashNot Exactly

There are several reasons why you would want to, if you have the available credit, to buy something using a credit card rather than cash. For one, if paid on time and complete, it can boost your credit score. Secondly a lot of credit card companies offer separate warranties on purchase made with their cards.

4. I Filled Bankruptcy, I Will Never Have Good Credit – FALSE.

Let’s just say this, Credit Card companies make money and are “successful”, when there are more people who default on their payments. They love having people in debt. After 7 years it is cleared from your report. So here is how to fix your credit score.

Ok so now here are something’s I did to improve my score:

1. Make a List of all Your Credit Cards

Provide this information, I use an excel sheet to track, highest credit limit, years it has been opened, balance due, and APR.

Now that you have this list, make the credit card that has the highest credit limit and has been opened for the longest amount of time be your most important card. Do that until you have somewhat of a ranking. Then;

2. Always, Always Make Your Payments On Time.

Short on cash? Having a tough month financially? Whatever it is, I am sure I have been there before, but always prioritize your monthly credit card bill to be paid and pay it on time. 355 of your credit report score is On Time Payments, this is a huge chunk of scoring high or low. So put the new LV purse or Air Nikes on hold, pay your credit cards first.

Only TWO things You Need To Do??

Ummm not that easy! But it is doable and I and a few friends of mine are proof!

I am not a credit expert, but these are just a few simple things I did to help improve my credit score within a short amount of time. Nothing can be done overnight, but by simply doing this I do promise your score can improve. Without good credit you can not and DO NOT have any buying power in America.

Do you want to eventually own your own home?

Buy a car?

Not have to get a cosigner for your cellphone?

Ummm maybe want to have furniture that is bought and owned and not by a rent-a-center???

Then your credit score needs a “facelift”?

Rome 3 Day Itinerary

Few places in the world are as romantic, interesting and outright experiences than the city of Rome. Whether you are an avid traveler or new to it, everyone should take sometime to visit the beautiful city of Rome. Follow my 3 day itinerary and if you stay a little longer check out our tips from Italy In Two Weeks.

You will be delighted to know that it does not take too much time or money to enjoy all of its beauty. I have had the travel bug since I was a kid when my parents took me to Hawaii. Since then, I have wanted to explore the world. My 3 day itinerary below is if you are flying from JFK, but I am sure any other departure city has great nonstop flights to Rome.

Flight Day

I suggest taking a non stop overnight flight. When flying from North America into Europe you will arrive to a rise & shine of Roman air. We took an evening flight out of New York JFK to Rome Fiumicino. As per experience, I would highly recommend exchanging money at the airport or check with your local bank if they have a partnership with an Italian bank for free or low percentage fees on money exchanges. I learned the hard way, did not exchange and then I was in a sudden desperation to find a currency exchange place which of course ended up totally screwing me with 7% commission! So make sure you have Euros.

DAY 1

Arrive in Rome

At the airport you can catch any of the white certified taxis at all exits. There is a flat rate to get you anywhere within the Roman Walls (downtown). Check with your hotel if they offer free or discounted shuttle service pick up from the airport. Once you have settled into your hotel, I would recommend using this day to do 1 of two things: 1. Hop on & off bus tour of the city or 2. Head to the Roman ruins & the Colosseum. We chose to visit the ruins & the Colosseum. One thing you will want to purchase is the ROMA PASS. This pass is great & highly recommended. It is 30Euro and gets you admission into any two museums or the ancient ruins/Colosseum package, unlimited use of Rome’s public transportation which is very easy to use and on top of that, there are third party tour groups that offer you an additional discount with the pass. So if you plan on visiting two or more museums or sights on their website, it is well worth it. Learn more about the Roma Pass .

IMG_1076E IMG_1181E IMG_2350E

After settling in to your hotel, go to the ruins first. Check out the birthplace of this civilization. Secret Tip: On the south east exit right before you start making your way towards the Colosseum look towards your right and you will see some steps leading towards the Colosseum…. We discovered this gem ..empty..nobody around and an unforgettable view and photo backdrop of the Colosseum. Make sure to keep an eye on your watch as they close at 6pm and you will want to get into the Colosseum by at least 5pm at the latest to have at least 1 hour to view this masterpiece and take pictures. Why do I suggest going in the afternoon? Well two reasons: 1. Less crowded and 2. The sunset views and picture taking opportunities are unmatched!

DAY 2

Visit Vatican City.

…..here we are trying to sneak a pic in the Sistine Chapel…. 🙂

IMG_1416

I suggest you pre book tickets online via this website to save yourself an hour at least of waiting in line to enter the Vatican Museum. Click here to get tickets.
I suggest you book them for the earliest time slot as crowds only grow as the day continues.
We booked ours for 10am. It takes about 2 hours to go through the entire museum which culminates at the magnificent Sistine Chapel which is just breath taking!
After the museum, if you decide to get tickets or stand in line you may enter the St. Peters Basilica. It is free to the public and also worth seeing. The square alone is impressive with its sheer size.

From Vatican City we headed south to an area called Trastevere which literally means “beyond the river” It is just crossing over the Tiber river what Romans like to call there version of NYC “SOHO”. Cobblestone lined streets, cafes and bar! Best recommended for an afternoon and evening stroll.

IMG_1567

IMG_1726

This evening you should do like the Romans and head for the streets! Rome dresses up for the evening. It is my favorite time of the day! There is something so special about seeing its main attractions light up. We did a night stroll as per Rick Steves “Travels In Europe” Rome book. Highly recommended! Here is a helpful link to it http://www.theculturebite.com/2010/06/21/rick-steves-rome-2010-night-walk-across-rome/

We culminated our night walk with enjoying dinner at one of the many great restaurant with outdoor seating offering plenty of people watching opportunities!

We hardly ever travel alone! We either go with family, friends or join a group! So much fun to experience the world with people you like!

IMG_1780 IMG_1790 IMG_1955 IMG_2026

Day 3.

We started this day at the northern part of the city at the Spanish Steps where we climbed to the top to enjoy a beautiful view of the city and all the shoppers. The Spanish steps has a view overlooking one of Rome’s most high end shopping district Via Condotti. Here you will find all the top designer stores. Even if you are not in the market to buy anything, it is worth the window shopping!

I recommend you use this day to do your shopping. Can not leave Rome without something! This is also a good day to view certain sites like Trevi Fountain by day, as you may have only seen it by night on your night stroll.
We culminated our last day in Rome by doing a segway tour that took us to some behind the scenes lookout points that only the Roman’s would know of. You can learn more about the tours offered at http://www.romebysegway.com/site/Tour_in_Rome_by_Segway.php We did the Imperial evening tour. The sunset views from some of the locations it takes you to our unforgettable. Can you tell I adore sunsets???

7 Habits of Unsuccessful People

Is there such a thing as habits of unsuccessful people? Well recently during a conversation I was reminded about the importance of time management. It feels like a century ago, that I used to be the type of person who needed to be reminded that I should have goals and things I want to accomplish for the week. At one point in my life, I had to learn how to prioritize things and be able to multitask. Today, being organized, having goals and successfully running several business & careers is hate to sound conceded but almost like second nature. But again, it was NOT always like that. One of the books I read that helped me become the person I am today was Steven Coveys 7 Habits of Highly Successful People well here are 7 Habits of Unsuccessful People…

I can say it is almost foreign to come across and hangout with or even talk to people who have nothing going for themselves or what I deem to be “unsuccessful”. Most everyone I know has their sh*** together either working at a company that they enjoy, excelling at their career or education and or growing a business. And mind you what I mean by this is that these people are actively working on all this. They are not millionaires or bazillionaires, to me that’s awesome, but even working towards what you like in my opinion is a success! So what do I label as unsuccessful?   Well here are some common characteristics I believe unsuccessful people share I like to call it the 7 Habits of Unsuccessful People:

  1. 1. They have a bad attitude.

Its as simple as “whatever your mind believes, it achieves” So if your mind is constantly negative or thinking the world is against you, then it is clear to see why things just never seem to work out for you.

  1. 2. They think “poor me”

This is an attitude of pitty. These people are usually ones to think “why does all the bad stuff happen to me” or often times these people feel no one likes them or no one wants to help them. They remind me of a helpless frail dog. Often these are the same folks talking about how because they grew up in certain place or because of their sex or race they aren’t successful.

  1. 3. Have no purpose or goals

Did you ever as a kid play with big leafs and pretend they were boats? You ever see how they drift and have no real direction? That is what these people act and are like. They kind of just “go with the flow”. If you were to ask them what they are doing tomorrow or this weekend or anything they probably do not have a solid answer. It is always “I don’t know”. If you ask them what they like to do or their thoughts on things; they “don’t know” or have no opinion.

  1. 4. Always do just enough, never more.

Simple enough. Successful people stretch to do more and be more. Unsuccessful people just do enough. Whether it is as simple as cleaning their room to getting their life together. It is all the same. Their attitude of “just enough” keeps them unsuccessful

  1. 5. They are usually very messy

I once learned that people who are messy in their homes and who have messy cars, usually always have messy businesses, lives and relationships. So far, so true. I don’t believe I have ever met a messy successful person.

  1. 6. They think they know everything

These are the people who rarely listen and are not open to learn anything knew. You tell them or offer a suggestion and they respond with “oh I know” and do not listen fully to what you were attempting to share with them.

  1. 7. Always wake up late and have no plans for their days

Now don’t get me wrong I LOVE to sleep in…but to do it everyday?! Come’on now! Grow up and get with it. Having no plan for the day…everyday is just the biggest warning flag for disaster. When you are excited about life have goals and things you want to achieve you usually find yourself eager to get up and start working on those things. So if you find yourself not being in the mood to wake up, it probably has more to do with your ambition than the fact that you feel “tired”

If you find yourself just loligagging around, “oh hem hum let it slide” then I suggest you pick up some books, courses or sometimes even a friend. A friend who has a lifestyle or a way of looking at life that you can learn from and is willing to teach you (because most people could care less about you) then snatch them up and appreciate them for caring enough to share with you or tell you when your screwing up and how you can become better.

Have anymore habits to add? Let me know Here!

Dating Is Like A Job Interview

Dating is like a job interview and we all have had one. A few years back a cousin of mine went thru this time period where she was dating a lot and God bless her for it! The girl was smart about it and met a lot of guys and well did what I think many people do not do: Date.

Dating to me is an interview process.

If you’ve ever worked for a large company you know that they don’t jump into bed with you after the first interview. If your only taste of the workforce is dead-end low paying jobs then yes I stand corrected they DO jump right in and hire you before testing you out, but again a legitimate company with a name to uphold, millions of dollars at stake and who produce great results or amazing products, those companies do not just jump right in and hire someone. They treat the culture of the company and employees as something sacred.

So for those of you who are trust fund babies, born entrepreneurs from age 10 and or never stepped it up to go after a job with a large company then let me share with you how the process works.
You have to have a stellar resume to land your first interview and if your first interview goes well, then they schedule a 2nd , 3rd and possibly 4th interview for the exact same job position.
At each stage of the interview process they introduce you to new people usually management and if that management likes you then they introduce you to the next.

It all happens as a process and little by little. Now people keep in mind this is for a job! Now in dating which to me is and should be treated like an interview process, what happens to us about that something so sacred and special called your family and friends? Why is it that so many of us who start dating fail to be as selective with who we date and who we introduce our friends and family to that we just bored around and allow some chic or dude your dating distort the harmony in your friends and family??

Companies take interviewing and adding someone new to their “family” seriously because they know how important it is to hire someone of value. Someone who will add great chemistry to the existing group and not be the cancer.
If companies are so protective of their culture why aren’t you with your culture of friends and family?

To me the guy I was going to be known to be “dating” was superrrrrr important that the following things happen:

1. I Have To Like Him and Be Totally Into Him—-> HE, has to like me and be totally into me!

2. My Family Has To Approve and Like Him—-> HE BETTER like my family & be on his best d*mn behavior

3. My Friends Have To Like and Get Along With Him—-> HE BETTER like my friends and respect them.

4. We have to have similar spiritual beliefs, morals, etc all that other stuff that is important in a relationship!

If those 4 things are good, then to me it is like “hiring” time which I then proceed to turn it into an exclusive relationship. I would suggest that your introduce the potential “BF/GF” little by little and I usually recommend them meeting your family last.

A huge dating FAIL is when people just override and skip what I consider the 4 essentials and just date someone who:

1. ISN’T Totally Into You —-> They can’t shut up about how OTHER guys/girls are hotter than you

2. Your Family Is Indifferent or Doesn’t Like Them—> Some people are not close to their family, i could see why this wouldn’t matter to them

3. The person you are dating DOES NOT like your friends and your friends DO NOT get along with them—-> I believe good friends want the best for you so if they openly tell you they don’t like the person you are dating there is a major reason why. I don’t think friends sit around and hope for their friends never to date.

4. Bad Chemistry… enough said.

Why is it that some people fail to realize that when you make someone exclusive and date them… They end up having to date your friends & family too!

If the culture of your friends has been spring break trips, weekly dinners and get-togethers with no drama, no awkwardness why the F would you not protect it or give a small shit about maybe considering how your BF/GF effects it??

There is truth in numbers. If 1-2 people don’t like who you have forced upon them to like then hey maybe those people are picky and illogical and not giving your bf/gf a chance. However, of this extends beyond that then why are you forcing upon what at one time was sacred someone who clearly is a cancer in your family and
friends?

It is sad to see when men really do chose “Hoes before bros” or women we can be just as guilty of being exclusive with someone who doesn’t add value to you and who doesn’t mesh with your friends.

Now the question is: Is the issue your friends or the person you are dating?

My fondest wish for you is to remember that when you date it’s an interview. You don’t have to introduce the chick or guy you just me to your family of friends right away in fact I’ve gone on several dates with tons of guys that never ever met any of my friends. They just didn’t cut it, I knew I didn’t want to be serious with them so I just didn’t bother bringing them around my friends or family. These guys were good enough for me to spend some time with, hang out with and entertain myself, but not good enough to make it to round two “interviews”.

Interview process is fun! Enjoy it and make sure you “hire” the right one! 🙂

DIY Simple Dessert Table

Hi everyone! Ever notice how people no longer eat cake at birthday parties or weddings? Well I want to take a few minutes to share with you how to create a simple dessert table for your next party that is sure to please your guest. Cakes are out & dessert tables are in! I have always been one to eat wayyyyy to much desert! I usually choose ice cream over steak ANY day so having a selection of sweets is just so much more fun for your guest to enjoy. Here are some simple things to do for you next party if you want to have a dessert table.

Pick A Party Theme

The cupcakes above I made for my friends “Safari monkey” inspired baby shower! I am a big fan of themed parties. I think every party is just that much more fun & looks well put together when there is a theme and or color scheme. Whether is is simply your decoration colors or the actual theme your guest should expect thru the event, either way start with selecting this first.

Set the table.

Decorate the table and cover it with fabulous cloth and add flowers and ribbons as an accent to the theme. Create platforms or place fabric-covered Styrofoam raiser boxes with different heights and shapes on which you can set up your desserts.

Choose a collection of containers.

Pick bowls, jars, vases, trays, platters, canisters and footed stands in combination of shapes and sizes. Scoops and spoons make the perfect accessory to a jar of lollies. Clear glass containers are great for holding colourful hard candies.

Labels & Proper Utensils

Use matching stationary, handwritten signs, chalkboard signs, and calligraphy to describe and name your delicious desserts if you have many different varieties. Also make sure to have proper utensils available if something needs to be served.

Sweet Selection.

Balance an elaborate cake with mini cupcakes, chocolates, cookies, and hard candies on the table. Some great dessert ideas include cupcakes with couture cupcake wrappers, truffles, personalized chocolate bars, cookie garlands, whoopie pies, pillow mints, malted milk balls, sweet tarts, rock candy, taffy, almonds, macaroons, cotton candy cone sticks, popcorn boxes, panacotta, centerpiece cakes, jelly beans, mints, fondant covered petit fours and gelato.

You can also include customized drinks!

What Is An Ass Kisser

What is an ass kisser? When someone says to you “why are you kissing their ass?” What exactly does that mean? Take a few minutes and read with me as we explore what an ass kisser is and if you are one or not.

You may have been the kid who bullies used to say “Oh you’re an ass kisser” or maybe you were taunted with “why are you kissing their ass?” The “ass kisser” when I was growing up was the kid who was nice to his teacher. The “ass kisser” in grade school was the kid who would bring in little gifts (mostly home made by their mother) to the teacher.

As adults, many (negative & immature) adults continue to use that word. They call the coworker who always greets their boss in the mornings with a “good morning” or the one who speaks to the human resources manager in a very polite and friendly way, the “ass kisser”. The employee who always shares his opinion, who volunteers to do things and who acts courteous to his coworkers, that employee is usually called by fellow employees the “ass kisser”.

But what really is an “ass kisser”?

Is it really that being kind and having something called…. MANNERS makes you an ass kisser? I think not! I think this phrase has been misused for years and the true “ass kissers” are under the radar.

You see in life people liking you and being kind, generous and having manners and etiquette can really get you far. Just pick up a few autobiographies and I can guarantee you that they probably acted in what the negative, immature society calls “ass kisser” type of way.

Haven’t you noticed that most people who say “thank you” and give other people compliments and say “good morning” to others… end up far ahead of everyone else?

Haven’t you noticed these people usually are the ones who have more friends, end up getting better jobs or promotions at existing jobs and are well liked by others?

People make the world go round and if you lack the ability or understanding of how important it is for people to like you and win people over then I hate to break it to you, but you are just destined to a life of rough up hill battles.
Crappy dead end jobs, negative friends, live in a poor neighborhoods and continue to have less and less meaningful relationships in your life. Again, my thoughts are QUALITY over QUANTITY.

If you do not have many people you can count;
You have been stuck at a dead end job;
It is hard for you to get a promotion or a raise;
You tend to be the one NOT invited anywhere;
Or you just simply have a stinky attitude, then I suggest you learn to be a better “ass kisser”.

When I come across “non ass kissers” I can’t help but feel sorry for them. They have this attitude of “the world is against me and F people”. What a sad way to live.

Who are the non ass kissers??
You can usually identify them by:

– They do not acknowledge other people. Walk into a house without saying hi to anyone or walk into their office and slump into their desk;
– They are unfamiliar with the word “Thank You”
– They have little to no real friends
– They are unable to have a conversation with someone.
– Are usually single or have “sex” partners. Aka a sex only relationship.
– Do not have things go their way.
– Usually get screwed over and can not get favors done for them.

So why do I think “ass kissers” have been mislabeled?

Because to me a true “ass kisser” is: someone who continues to be nice and polite to someone AFTER the fact that person has lied to them, disrespected them, scammed them or intentionally try to hurt them in any way. If you are STILL nice and cordial to people like that, then YOU ARE AN ASS KISSER! But do not confuse someone who is smart with their networking ability or who simply is generous and polite as an ass kisser…. that is two separate worlds.

I know a few people who have had all of the above happen to them. They were scammed. Scammed so obviously like those old Nigerian chain letter scams and not out of $10 or $100, but thousands!

One guy I knew gave another so called “successful investor” $80,00! Yes people $80,000 for his so called “investments”. You know typical “gold mines”, “hotel deals” Nigerian scam type of things. The guy NEVER got any substantial documentation of the “investment” any follow up.. nothing. It was like puff the magic dragon his money had no trace other than the initial deposit made into the “successful investors” account.  A whole year later still no word or trace of this investment and all the hopeful investor is getting in return is a $200 a month “shut-up” fee and that of course the “successful investor” is still his friend. So the guy that gave him the money to invest is still corgidal with the guy he knowingly was scammed by. Others have been lied to and intentionally hurt. And they KNOW the person/people who did this and what do they do?? KISS THEIR ASS.

Continue to be nice, find and friendly. See the last health company I was a marketing representative for is full of people at the top who intentially lie, cheat and steal. Including the owner. This guy has a history and track record that spans years of people and multitudes of people he has purposely screwed over. Screwy things like: Lie, steal, cheat, take their business away, fire them from their job for no reason, etc. I can go on for days.  The minute I discovered these things my kindness subsided and well to say the least I wasn’t and have not been quiet about it. I am just not the “sweep it under the rug person” others the “ass kisser” not only sweep it under the rug, but act as if nothing has happened.  I do not understand how there can still be  people involved and supportive even after knowing these type of things have been done and are being done.

See my friends that to me is an “Ass Kisser”. Do you agree with me?

So again, this little fun phrase we throw around casually, I would hope that this post shared a little insight and further look at what an ass kisser really is. We are not in the 5th grade people! Life is about being kind to people and getting ahead. If you’re the type of loser who calls people who have manners and etiquette and are smart “ass kissers” it just shows you immaturity and well how far down the people chain you are. The world my friends is ruled by people who know how to and whose ass to kiss the best. It’s the truth whether you like it or not. All I ask is you kiss peoples ass who haven’t lied, stolen or cheated you. Stand up for something and start kissing the right peoples asses. 🙂
