My fiancé and I have been involved in real estate and design for over a decade so you can only imagine how excited we are to start working on our own home. Like many homebuyers in a desirable area without an endless budget we were stuck with purchasing a high priced builder grade home or getting a much older home with a lot of work needed. With an investor mentality of “a home is not an asset, it is a liability”, knowing that location is the biggest rule in real estate and not being afraid of a little paint, hiring a contractor and using our creativity we decided on fixing up an old home less than 10 minute bike ride to the beach and sharing the entire remodel with you!
